FUSED CALCIUM ALUMINATE


Calcium aluminate refining slag is made from lime and alumina by electric smelting process, which mainly be used in RH & LF furnace refining to separate the sulfur, oxygen and contaminations in the steel slurry. It can reduce the content of harmful elements and impurities in the general carbon steel, high carbon steel, high/low alloy steel. Moreover, it also can improves the fluidity of the slag, achieves rapid formation of slag and efficient steel refining in secondary metallurgy. 

The calcium aluminate refining slag is characterized with uniform chemical compositions, low melting point and high melting speed, which can improve the purity of steel and short smelting time during refining process. 

Moreover, our products don’t erode the furnace lining or ladle during the refining process because of no fluoride and can reduce the dust pollution in the refining process because of stable phase. 

In addition, it also can be specially designed of the formula according to the different chemical composition requirements of the customers.
